The original ProRate PLUS product line featured three single screw feeders ideal for feeding pellets, granules, and other free-flowing bulk materials in secondary plastics applications. However, recognizing the need for solutions catering to more challenging materials, Coperion K-Tron expanded its offerings with the ProRate PLUS-MT twin screw feeder.
ProRate PLUS-MT twin screw feeder
The ProRate PLUS-MT twin screw feeder is engineered to handle difficult-to-handle powder additives like talc. Its horizontal agitator ensures optimal material filling, reducing pulsations and providing a self-cleaning effect. Moreover, its steep hopper design facilitates reliable feeding of poorly flowing bulk solids without the need for an additional vertical agitator. In instances of material bridging or ratholes, the addition of ProFlow bulk solids activators promotes consistent material flow.
Designed for ease of use, the ProRate PLUS feeders feature a space-saving trapezoidal shape, allowing for clustering of up to six feeders around an extruder inlet within a compact radius. With four feeder models covering a wide range of throughputs, these feeders offer versatility without compromising performance. Additionally, the patent-pending ProClean™ Rail system facilitates effortless cleaning and maintenance, further enhancing operational efficiency.
